Crabby Old Bastard

Yesterday I was working on a blog I've had for a few years now.  This blog was full, (well, not quite "full", as I was mostly too lazy to update it consistently), of affiliate links to wonderful products on Amazon.com , such as a great self-help book , a wonderful cookbook , and a book full of great career advice . Good, wholesome stuff!  As fate would have it, I got the brilliant idea to link to some books by Aaron Clarey, (aka "Captain Capitalism" - follow him on his cool blog! ), as I have been following Aaron for about a year now, and think he is a decent writer with some very excellent ideas.  Doubtlessly more good, wholesome stuff for the masses to consume. "OH NO!!  NOT ON OUR WATCH!," shrieked the douchebags over at Wordpress.com, for no sooner had I published my page linking to Aaron's books than my blog disappeared, replaced by the message above. Inspired by  Jefferson Airplane , Crabby Old Bastard takes off! What better than a group of drug addled hippies to start off this blog, eh? I suppose a good initial post would be a brief introduction, followed by what I hope to accomplish with this blog. I am a grumpy old man, in my sixties.  I'm overweight, have mild hypertension, have had my appendix removed, and my vas deferens snipped.  I'm still working at an I.T. job, supporting grumpy old COBOL applications, but I think my days doing so are numbered, as I just don't have the concentration skills that the job requires anymore, and to be honest, I'm burnt out from working with shitty, brittle old code. Which brings me to the purpose of this blog.  Other than a place to bitch about the inherent unfairness of life, I'm hoping to earn some money with affiliate marketing, which will offset my eventual loss of income from I.T. work.  (If you have a problem with affiliate links , then you're a wanker
