Wordpress.com Sucks!!
Yesterday I was working on a blog I've had for a few years now. This blog was full, (well, not quite "full", as I was mostly too lazy to update it consistently), of affiliate links to wonderful products on Amazon.com, such as a great self-help book, a wonderful cookbook, and a book full of great career advice.
Good, wholesome stuff!
As fate would have it, I got the brilliant idea to link to some books by Aaron Clarey, (aka "Captain Capitalism" - follow him on his cool blog!), as I have been following Aaron for about a year now, and think he is a decent writer with some very excellent ideas. Doubtlessly more good, wholesome stuff for the masses to consume.
"OH NO!! NOT ON OUR WATCH!," shrieked the douchebags over at Wordpress.com, for no sooner had I published my page linking to Aaron's books than my blog disappeared, replaced by the message above.
Why did this happen? Well, Aaron is a conservative guy who pens posts such as "Socialism, Simply", (exposing socialism for what it is, namely, theft), which apparently set loose a bee in the poor Wordpress.com SJW employees' bonnet. Any form of communication which they disagree with is by definition harassment. By posting links to Aaron's "hate speech filled" missives, I was aiding the dark side, and therefore my blog was nuked.
Now if I had posted affiliate links to books praising Hillary Clinton, or blogs supporting gender transitions and free-form, relativistic ethics, I bet those same Wordpress.com goons would be praising my blog, and nominating it for "blog of the week". (Or maybe not. Who knows - or cares - how those idiots think.)
As it is, I am down to this blog now, and in the amazing position of discovering that on at least one issue Google has more tolerance than other major I.T. companies. Who would have imagined that!
Since the pricks at Wordpress.com won't let me promote Aaron's cool books on their shitty blogging platform, I guess I'll promote them here.
By the way, many of these books would make an EXCELLENT gift for a recent high school / college graduate, helping them clear their head of all the crap that has been crammed into it in the classroom and replacing it with a clear vision of the world as it really is.
... and finally, one of my favorites:
Pleasant reading!
